There is one simple rule. The more expensive the RAM, the more compatible the RAM. This is why Ramcity is not the cheapest. But as our name suggests, we sell mainly one thing = RAM. We have to get it right first time.

Biggest myth in RAM = all RAM is the same. This is not true, you can make RAM cheaply, it will not perform as well in name brand computers, maybe in a DIY build but not a Dell, HP or Lenovo. The perfect example is Kingston Valueram. This was a cheaper version of their RAM that they built for motherboard manufacturers but it was not recommended in their configurator for name brand models.
